Annika is a licensed graduate professional counselor in the state of Maryland. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Counselor Education at The Ohio State University. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and her
Bachelor’s from the University of Rochester. She was a 2023-2024 NBCC Foundation Minority Fellowship Program Fellow.
Annika specializes in trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, and emotional regulation, with extensive experience supporting families affected by domestic violence and abuse. She is passionate about strengthening parent-child relationships and promoting emotional well-being across the lifespan. At iHEAL, she provides telehealth services using an integrative, client-centered approach.
Beyond counseling, Annika has a background in teaching private music lessons. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, Pilates, and watching true crime documentaries. She is also holds a Paralegal Certificate from Boston University.
