Nate is a masters-level intern from Towson University’s Clinical Psychology program. Prior to coming to iHEAL, Nate gained experience working with adult clients coming out of psychiatric hospitalization as a rehabilitation specialist, as well as providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum.Â
His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, life transitions, and working with children, adolescents, and emerging adults. He utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches in therapy, as well as motivational interviewing and solution-focused techniques.
Aside from his clinical work, Nate enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, spending time with family, and playing video games with friends.
